Phil passed away on 2nd March 2020 following a stroke 2 days before He was 52 and was married with a 9 year old son He had a wider extended family with a sister , brother in law, nephew, cousins, aunties, uncles and his dad Over the years many Christmases and other celebrations have been enjoyed by all the family, with numbers getting bigger all the time as babies kept arriving!! His passing was very sudden and shocking for everyone His big passion was golf and had been playing for more than 40 years He was a member of Bramhall Park Golf Club, playing in comps and matches every week He spent time at the driving range and had taken his son, Freddie a few times He also loved football and that love has been passed onto Freddie They enjoyed watching matches together, both cheering or getting grumpy, depending on which way the match was going!! The first part of any weekend was grassroots football with Freddie where he was a very supportive fan of the whole team!! He loved Mexican food and would make it at least once every weekend which would be enjoyed by him and his wife, Esther, with a glass of red!! Esther and Phil enjoyed each others company a lot, whether they were just at home, discussing the bin rota or spending time together in the local restaurants Home life was fun with games days, football in the garden, cooking, pets and days out We loved walking and explored many forests, peaks and trails We had climbed Mam Tor a few times as a family and were ready to move onto bigger!! Family holidays were always looked forward to with Phil remembering his childhood holidays and wanting Freddie to have the same memories. Holidays were spent swimming, exploring beaches, walking, chillin', reading, playing cards andalways a holiday Uno tournament!!, enjoying family meals and just being together We miss Phil so much and just want his memory to stay alive, we will continue to raise money for the Stroke Association for as long as we can Thankyou for your donations xx
